Terms of use
The rules that apply when you use OHS1 for your society's records.
Who may hold an account
An account belongs to one person: a member, a tenant, a committee member, a member of the managing agency, or security staff on duty. Do not share your password or let another person sign in as you. Gate devices are shared, but the guard signs in as himself.
Your society's records
The records belong to the society, not to OHS1 and not to the committee member who entered them. Use them only for running the society. Do not copy the member directory for canvassing, marketing or any purpose outside society business.
Financial entries
Financial entries cannot be edited or deleted. A mistake is corrected by a reversal entry, so the trail stays complete. Entries above the society's approval limit need a second office-bearer to approve them.
What is recorded about your actions
Every action that changes a record is written to the audit log with your name and the time. Committee members and above can read the audit log for their own society.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that is used to harvest member details, to abuse another member, or to bypass the approval rules above. A society may be suspended if its registration is withdrawn.
What we do not do
OHS1 does not arbitrate disputes between members, does not collect money on the society's behalf beyond passing on payments to the society's own account, and does not give legal advice on the bye-laws.
